Tyler grew up in Louisville, Colorado, and now lives nearby with his wife and two young kids. He began his college journey as a student-athlete at Wittenberg University, where academic struggles eventually led him to leave school. After being diagnosed with ADHD and dyslexia, he returned to finish his degree, first at Front Range Community College and then at Colorado State University, all while working full-time. His personal experience navigating learning differences is what drew him to this work. Tyler understands how hard school can feel without the right support, and he’s passionate about helping students develop tools that actually work for them. Tyler has been with Untapped for 9 years and now focuses on growing the organization and building partnerships that allow more families to access the support they need. Outside of work, he likes being active and spending time with his wife, kids, and dogs.
