6th-12th Grade Program Expectations and Requirements

Coaching Program Expectations & Commitments

At Untapped Learning, we believe that real progress begins with the right support system—one rooted in relationships, executive function skill-building, and personalized tools. Our Coaching Program helps students develop the strategies they need to reach their academic and personal goals by addressing the root cause of many common struggles: executive function.

Through our REP Framework (Relational, EF Skill-Building, Personalized), students gain the tools, encouragement, and accountability to improve focus, follow-through, and confidence.

What We Ask of Students:

Success in our program comes from consistent participation and a willingness to engage. Students are expected to:

  • Arrive on time to all scheduled sessions
  • Follow Untapped Learning’s rescheduling and cancellation policies when changes are necessary
  • Bring any necessary supplies (homework, planner, devices, etc.)
  • Complete their weekly to-do list to the best of their ability
  • Respond to communication from their Coach for check-ins, reminders, and accountability

What We Ask of Families:

Parents and guardians are a crucial part of the coaching partnership. We ask that families:

  • Communicate consistently with their Student’s Coach to support growth
  • Encourage follow-through at home between sessions
  • View this as a long-term commitment. We ask for your patience as your student develops their executive function skills. This growth takes time and consistent effort, often involving focused work on one or two skills at a time with regular repetition. Please know that setbacks can be a normal part of the process. Our aim is to provide your student with a comprehensive set of executive function strategies they can confidently apply both now and in their future.

What You Can Expect from Us:

We bring a relational, compassionate, and evidence-based approach to every coaching experience. Your Student’s Coach will:

  • Build trust and motivation through connection
  • Target executive function challenges with proven, real-world strategies
  • Adapt sessions and strategies to your Student’s evolving needs
  • Provide structure, encouragement, and accountability every step of the way

Together, we’ll work to uncover your Student’s strengths, develop practical tools, and foster lasting confidence—in school and beyond.
