Overcoming a severe childhood reading delay and a speech impediment taught me firsthand that patient mentorship can completely reframe the learning process. My coaching style leverages this understanding to shift a student’s mindset away from chasing grades and toward finding genuine joy in mastering material. I draw heavily on my background specializing in executive functioning support to make this happen. I competed as a track and field student-athlete at the University of Washington, where I earned an undergraduate degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Business before co-founding a successful startup. At my core, I want my students to build the confidence to advocate for themselves and relish challenges. In my free time, I love reading, leatherworking, cooking, and running in the mountains.
