Growing up with OCD, balancing schoolwork and daily life often felt overwhelming. As an English and Secondary Education student at the University of Colorado Boulder, I integrate my training as a future educator with a deep understanding of how essential executive functioning skills are to thriving both in and out of the classroom. I am passionate about providing students with steady, enthusiastic support and taking the time to ensure concepts truly click. My approach balances optimism with deep empathy, creating a motivating environment where students feel comfortable conquering challenging tasks. By building these genuine connections, I help students find that learning can be both manageable and fun. When I am not in class, I spend my time practicing yoga, attending concerts, going on long walks with friends, or watching sports—especially hockey.
