Maddie Webb
Maddie is a graduate of CU Boulder where she studied psychology, political science, and Spanish. Maddie was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado and attended Eisenhower Elementary School, Manhattan Middle School, and Fairview High School. She has lived in both Mexico and Spain, but has returned to Colorado each time for its beautiful outdoors and friendly people. In her free time she practices and teaches yoga, climbs, hikes, lifts, and spends as much time outside exploring with her dog, Didi, as possible. Maddie has been with Untapped since 2020, where she has had the opportunity to work with every type of student who comes through the doors. She loves being able to build connections with students, watch them grow in their academic and social lives, and see them become capable and confident young adults.

Sam Fredricksmeyer
Sam grew up in Louisville, Colorado, attending Louisville Middle School, Monarch High School, and eventually the University of Colorado at Boulder. He has been with Untapped Learning since its inception, and he is going into his ninth year with the company. He graduated from college with a degree in civil engineering but was always drawn to working with people, which is what brought him to Untapped Learning. His current role is running the entire 6-12 program, but his favorite part of the job is the time he gets to spend working with students directly. Sam was inspired to get into this work by his brother, who struggled with ADHD throughout his childhood. Seeing the significant impact that support had on his brother made him want to be a part of that journey for other students. Outside of work, Sam deeply values spending time with his wife, Molly, and his friends. He loves being outdoors and playing sports.

Brandon Slade
Brandon Slade was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. He struggled with academics throughout high school, but it wasn’t until he attended college as a student-athlete that learning became significantly more difficult. He recognized that his brain worked differently than those of his peers, and he did not know how to successfully balance sports, school, and the social aspects of his collegiate life. After struggling academically, getting diagnosed with ADHD, and re-enrolling in college, he finally figured out ways to implement habits, routines, and learning strategies that enabled him to succeed as a student. He graduated with degrees in early childhood education and special education, received his master’s degree from Arizona State University in special education, and earned an education specialist degree in school psychology from the University of Colorado. Since recovering from academic setbacks his freshman year, his focus has remained the same: understand how the ADHD brain works. After teaching special education for 12 years, he founded an education startup: Untapped Learning. Untapped opened in 2018 and their focus parallels his own—to help students with executive functioning challenges, specifically ADHD and dyslexia. Untapped currently coaches hundreds of students with executive function challenges.
